Hi everybody.

Here's the question: Would you watch a movie about random things?

Let me be more specific: This movie it supposed to be random, and is just a bunch of random Counter Strike comments in the middle of a different conversation, mute conversations with elevator music as the background, some guy arguing with himself in two different chairs with different camera angles, another guy not having enough hot sauce on his burger (even when it is completely saturated and dripping), people falling asleep while studying and marking their faces with highlighter, and so on.

Note that it will probably be a maximum of 5 minutes long.

No. Not really, but then, i'm sure that there are people who would find the randomness funny, and watch it because of that.

That sounds wicked awesome.

I'd watch it.

Count me in, though it is more of a challenge coming up with something that is both random and makes for good comedy at the same time than most people think.

It's being filmed. My friends and I are not quite done yet. Soon. I just wanted to make sure at least one person would watch it before I spent worthless effort making it.

I watched a movie recently called "You and me and everyone we know". It was basically a whole bunch of random bullshit that was supposed to be funny, yet ironically, was not. I think it was trying to make fun of artsy-fartsy types, but whatever it was, I can't go through the experience of something so random ever again.

I would! I love random things. Random movies sound awesome! Or maybe i like random movies because i am a random person. (people call me the most random person who ever lived)

Well, if you just wanted to see if a few people would watch it, you did not really need a poll in the first place; let us know when you are done. Cheers.

I thought Napolean Dynamite was one of these movies when I started watching it ;|

"Napoleon Dynamite" does not come even close to "You and me and everyone we know" in terms of randomness.

Random is only good if there's humor and it's actually funny.

Here's an example of serious randomness. I don't remember where I got this from:

I'd watch it if it was funny.

I'd watch it if it was funny.

You would have to watch it in order to be able to decide if you found it funny or not :p

No. If I wanted to do that, I'd go set up one of those little timed pecking birds over the channel-changer button on my remote, and then sit in front of the TV.

I agree with retro.

I've seen some amusingly random stuff (Rejected springs to mind). Equally I've seen some that falls on it's face. I'd watch it, but I won't commit to enjoying it.
