Patches and MODs

hey as i am a complete noob i was wonderin can you guys help me out abit? am havin trouble with patches.

i tryed to install the 1.41 patch for DoW and wen i tryed installing it it came up with 'Patching error: you are attempting to patch the wrong locale of Dawn of War. Please ensure you have downloaded the correct patch for your language version, and try installing again' how can i fix this?

also how do you get a MOD to work is it installed jus like a patch? jus wonderin cus am thinkin of addin a few MODs but am unsure of how they work.

Also, download the full 1.41 patch so you don't have any problems with the version you're at:

I'd suggest you uninstall Dawn of War and Re-install then re-patch the game.

No no its not that. The mods will usually not work since they are not configured with the patch.

Unfortunatally noone bothered to tell the mod members that the code would be changed so much that it would be like starting all over again with the code. Most mods only work with Version 1.3, but for me, I can't even get version 1.01 loaded without getting the message:

1623: Failed to Install

Anyways mods are a tough thing, but luckly DoW has a great mod switcher which I love, kudos to the designers.
