Just Purchased WA and cannot install

I have just purchased Winter Assualt and cannot even install the game as it has a error before it does anything " Error - The patching system cannont locate the game. Please ensure that the game is currently installed on your computer " I have the game installed and it works fine its just not in the default directory because i have it on another hard drive is there anyway around this so i can update and install the game without uninstalling the game and putting it on the default directory as i don't want to do this!
