Confused....(Probably a stupid question)

Hi everyone I just registered, and I recently beat the game (wahoo) and wanted to try my hand with the editor, but where is it? The website says DoW ships with mission editing tools, but if that's true I don't see it in the DoW folder on my computer? Do I need to download something?

The website lies - you need to download the mod tools.
