"Error reading from file" in Winter Assault installation

During the installation, during the Disk 2 phase, an error appears.

"Error 1305. Error reading from file: C:/Program Files/THQ/Dawn of War/WXP/WXPData-Music.sga.
Verify that the file exists and that you can access it."

You can notice in the pic that this file REALLY exists in that directory.:rage:

What's going on? Is my CD 2 damaged? What can I do?

Anyway, to check and see if your disk is damaged copy everything on it to your harddrive - if you get an error during the copy procedure then you know the disk is damaged (or possibly just dirty). If its damaged you will need to return the game for a replacement.

Returning the game will be very hard in Chile.

do your shops not accept returns on damaged goods?

If that is the case then you could contact THQ directly - they may be able to asssist (although you will probably end up paying postage).
