I bought Dawn of War, and Winter Assault at the store today having heard good things about the game. I successfully installed Dawn of War and it's CD Key came on a little piece of paper bearing the Imperial logo.

But there's no CD Key for Winter Assault.

Winter Assault comes in its own box, and the CD's are held in white paperish holders with a circular piece of see-thru plastic and no CD key written on them. On the back of the Manual is a white bar that has the instructions 'Don't Lose this Number! This CD key is required to fully use this product!" but there's nothing printed in the white bar.

So where is my CD key? Am I missing something incredibly obvious?

Incendax;

Damn. It looks like you may have a defective manual; i.e. one printed with no key in that box that slipped through quality control. Unless it's been put somewhere else (and I don't doubt you looked through it thoroughly)- and I think that's reaching as it is- I would think you'd be well within your rights having made a legal purchase and finding the contents of your purchase being defective to return it to your point of purchase, at the very least to be exchanged for a non-defective unit. If you show them the blank CD-key box where there isn't one but should be, I don't think they'll make a fuss about it unless you bought it mail order, and even then they would reasonably have an obligation to provide you with at the very least a legal key or replacement manual.

Yup - return it to the shop. If they refuse to help you then go to THQ instead (contact details inside the manual).
