Problems with Skirmish AI

Hi, I'm a newcomer to the forums who's just got Winter Assault.

DOW without the expansion worked fine but when I installed the expansion it screwed stuff up VERY badly.

When I try to start order campaign it says,

FATAL SCAR ERROR.

And in skirmish games the AI on any difficulty just sit there doing nothing. They don't build, move capture of anything.

Does anyone know what to do about these problems?

Post a warnings.log and a dxdiag please.
Concerning the AI, it's a bit crappy, go to the link thread here (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=70784) and check out the AI mod.

The AI is a bit crappy, but it should do something.

Have you ever had any mods installed? They may have messed something up. At this stage I would recommend doing a clean reinstall of both DoW and WA (uninstall both, delete install directory, reinstall).

What do you mean by warning.log and dxdiag?

I haven't got any thing outside the main game besides the patch up to 1.40 and the mod tools. But the game was stuffed beforehand. I'll try reinstalling now.

In this case the warnings.log would probably be the most informative.
