Actually, it is the other way round.
Some of you may be experiancing difficulties with the game which only appear after a few minutes playing the game.
This can be caused by a build-up of dust on the hardware components in your pc case which makes things overheat, to clean it you need compressed air or a brush (be gentle), and the pc needs to be turned off and unplugged. If you have an anti-static bracelet, use it.
It takes quite a bit of dust to slow things down, look for things like clogged air intakes, fans with dust along the leading edge of the blades, dirty air filters.
No need to go mad, just a little spring clean every now and again.
No antics with vacuum cleaners or similar please, thats not safe for your pc.
As i am here, is there any chance somebody could tell me how to get the game to display the frame rate using a command added to the desktop shortcut? I have searched for half an hour but i am getting nowhere.
