CD Authentication Failed

I have a genuine 100% paid for (has been working fine and dandy) copy of DOW & DoW:WA and all of a sudden when I try to play Winter Assault online it tells me CD authentication failed.

Can anyone tell me where in the Registry the CD Key is stored so that I can check that the correct Key is in use.

Assuming the correct key is in use; how can this issue be resolved?

First thing I would try is reinstalling DoW and WA, see if that solves your problem.

Before I spend all that time reinstalling 6 CD's then an hour downloading patches I want to check my CD Key. Do you know where it is stored in the registry?

this is for the dawn of war key, not the winter assault key though isnt it?

The WA CD key is stored in the same place (with a different name, obviously) - when you navigate to the DoW registry folder you will easily be able to see the WA CD key entry.

I had this problem, its a FAQ, a reinstall fixed it for me...
