Is this a graphical glitch? and should I re-install?

Sometimes on certain maps the buildings cast a really long shadow that look like straight tentacles. They have their normal looking shadows plus these ones. I doubt they're shadows because they're really long and don't look natural at all. So is this a known graphical glitch or should I re-install? The same thing happens with three different graphics card drivers, so I doubt it's my drivers.

Are you serious? so there's like no solution except to live with it? Turning shadows to medium seems to solve this but I don't want medium shadows! :mad:

That's a known glitch. This bug occurs when the shadows on an object get stretched out on one of the corners.

i get something sometimes where the buildings corners grow so big off the screen, they look like huge pillars

I only get the bugged shadows with the imperial guard buildings. I used to be able to restart the game and it was fine but after the patch came out if got worse. Turned it to Medium and solved all my shadow problems.

I am getting the same thing. But it happens even with Menu Campaign, Multiplayer, Options. What do I need to do to fix this problem?
