I can't find this model available in the UK is there anyone who knows why?
Would the head be big enough for on a hive tyrant as it looks cleverer?
Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum but i dont know which bit would be best?

Do you have a picture of it?
And do you mean a model of a Genestealer from the Inquisitor range?

Yeah I really don't know what you are referencing, could you be more specific? In 2nd Edition the Genestealer models were Cultists for the Tyranids, and it almost sound slike you are referencing them even though I know you can't be, not many people remember those models.

I think he's talking about this actually. It's from the old Inquisitor skirmish game (the models were of a bigger scale).
I found it at the US Store easily enough, I can't believe they wouldn't have any in the UK store.... seein as how GW is British and all...

Oh ok, the title made me think that a Genestealer had become a Inquisitor the first time I saw it LOL

It's a decent size. I'm not sure if the head would look too great on the Hive Tyrant though. It would fit, but look a tad big in my opinion.

Try the german or french online stores. Either order from there or look up the item codes and ask at the british store about them.
Sometimes pieces are still available though not shown in the online store.

A Broodlord? It's a bit big for a Broodlord, Freeman. It's bigger than 54mm, according to Darkseid. The 40k game is played at 28mm scale.
From what you said in your first post, and what you're saying now, I get the impression you want to put this Inq-scale Genestealer's head on a Hive Tyrant and count it as a Broodlord.
That's not really going to work. A Hive Tyrant is a Monstrous Creature, but a Broodlord isn't. Your opponent will be endlessly confused about whether or not he can target it individually, or if you get extra dice for your armour penetration, or whatever. There is no way this head is suitable for a Broodlord.
That said, making this head for a psychic Hive Tyrant or something along those lines would look great.

No the plan is to use the genestealer head as my hive tyrants head.
I would then use another complete inquisitor stealer as a brood lord.
Inquisitor models arent that much bigger than 40k ones. Theyre about the same size as a tyranid warrior.
Sinse according to fluff the brrodlord is meant to be an uber stealer i thought him looking the same just around 2/5ths bigger would be ok?
Ok i have found it it is available from GW but i had to phone and ask and even then he could only find it as seperate parts. It has been discontinued.

Freeman, Inquisitor models are about twice the size of standard troops. So twice as tall as a Marine. That's about Sentinel size, not Tyranid Warrior.
Also, like Darkseid said, this model is from the old Inquisitor, which was in a larger scale.
