Ok, i recently tried to play online, and after loading the online game i joined, the battle started, but I was froze, with a message like this: DATA SYNC ERROR DETECTED-GAME DAT DOES NOT MATCH. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
I was trying to DL and install WA battlefield, and it gave all these weird instructions, and I might have deleted the DOW DATA, but i uninstalled DOW, and WA, and re installed. I may be running on patch 1.40. is that a prob? anyway, help would be greatly appreciated.
I saw a previos post about mods affecting it. I have 4 mods in my game manager, dawn of steel, tau, night shift/midnight shift. you said that by uninstalling, and deleting the "install diectory" it will fix it. it worked for whoever you guys were helping, can you tell me how to find the "install diectory" i need to delete?

Have you ever had any mods installed? If so they are probably the cause of the problem.
Uninstall the game and delete the install directory, then reinstall and patch up.
