This is the summary of that test you gave in your top of fourms post. The error message I recieve when trying to play Warhammer online is couldn't connect to lobby system, check your internet connection and if you have them firewall and router. Well step one my internet connection is fine because I can surf the web, and play world of warcraft and other games. Step two check firewall, I have turned off the firewall a bunch of times, no luck. Step three check your router, I have none, so I'm pretty much stuck. Please help thank you

also my ISP doesn't block port 6667

Windows XP Pro one, Also I have some McAfee Virus scan on as well. I think it's McAfee. Also I did that SocksCap Control and Http tunneler thing and it worked. I'm downloading the patch now. But I'm wondering still why I had to do that. It's like my firewall is still active after me turning it off. please help still

Turning off the Windows firewall leaves all ports CLOSED and BLOCKED, not open, like you'd expect.

So yea how do I fix this problem? I would like to play this game online. I also tried that SocksCap program with Http tunneler and I can connect but it stops in mid download of the patch. Please help

Well *something* is blocking that port, and you need to find out what it is. What kind of firewall software do you normal run?

None that I know of, except the one that came with windows. Any idea how I can check for firewall software? I also have virus scan on access scan on and something called epolicy. I don't know what those are or do.

It's mcaffee that's most likely causing the problem.

Try temporarily disabling it from starting up using MSCONFIG (Start>Run type MSCONFIG and hit enter). Disable all your startup items, and on the services tab, all non windows services. Reboot and try to play.

ps. Timeslice, you are incorrect.
