Can't join alot of games

The majority of games online I cannot join, I cant join the same games that my friends are in either. I ran the network test and it came up with:
Sending udp packet from 6112 to 6112
Waited with no reply, make sure udp port 6112 is forwarded.

I know port 6112 is forwarded, I have no other firewalls, no windows firewall. I don't understand what the problem is, help me please!

Clearly something is blocking that port, presumeably you havent set up port forwarding correctly.

What router are you using?
It may be that you need to allow pings from the internet to reach your comp to make the test work.

It may also be that your router's NAT isn't sophisticated enough to properly forward the signal to your comp. Try plugging yourself into the internet without the router and see if it works then. If it doesn't it isn't your router but your comp causing problems.
