I can't install Dawn of War. When I put CD1 in the drive the installer menu comes up (Install, Readme, THQ Website etc) but when I click install there's a short pause and an error pops up:
"_is8.tmp has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
... and thats the end of the installer. The problematic file (_isxx.tmp) has a different number each time.
I've tried installing from other drives and deactiviting my security software (as suggested on another troubleshooting site) but with no luck.
Anyone got any idea what I can do?
EDIT: I managed to solve the problem by uninstalling Zone Alarm and then installing DoW.
