Nasty Problem :(

I just got DoW and Winter Assault. Winter Assault works fine but DoW crashes whenever I try clicking the shortcut or accessing the game executable. It comes up with this error:

W40k.exe - Entry Point Not Found

I would post my dxdiag but I have the latest version of windows with everything capable of running Dawn of War Winter Assault at full settings without lag. So I should suspect it would be the same case for DoW if I could get it to run. Any ideas anyone? I have patched to 1.41 after the Winter Assault installation automatically patched to 1.4. Please help me!

Hmm, the warnings.log shows you playing WA so when you try to run DoW it doesnt even get far enough to generate a new log.

Try shutting down any security software you have running and then try again.

I shut down the windows firewall which was all I could see security-wise, still it gave the same error. Thanks for your suggestion, got any others lol?

Maybe you should try to make a clean DoW/WA install.
Uninstall everything (mods as well) and delete the Dawn of War repertory then reinstall DoW/WA, patch it with the full 1.41 patch (the 300+Mb one) and see if there are still problems
