Possibility to change language???

Hi guys
I've got the german version of Dawn of War and the german sounds much worse that the english version.
So i was wondering if there is any way to convert my DoW from german into english language??
I searched the forums but didn't really find anything.

lol and I wanna change my language from english to german...Im sure u can change it, perhaps reinstalling it. When u first install it asks which language u use. I havent tried but...

I must change mine from Spanish to English, so I don't have compatibility problems with WA. So if anyone knows an answer, please respond.

AFAIK, it isn't possible. I think someone asked before and there's something strange of the translated versions not including translations. Strangely, I have the UK version and seem to have Korean Blood and everything! Dig around and you might find the old thread.

It won't do by reinstalling since DoW game versions aren't multilingual. That means if you buy the game in the UK you'll logically get the UK version (English).
Specific games will support several European languages when installing the program - DoW unfortunately won't.


So, the only possibility is to rebuy the game in the language version you want to have.
There, I would recommend the UK version (I've got it, too :nod:).

It is not possible to change language on DoW - you are never asked to choose a language, the game is provided with just the files for one version of the game (English files in english speaking countries, french files in france, german files in germany, etc, etc).

Locking the thread since the only possible thing anyone could add to this discussion would violate the EULA.
