I will first say that when I first played DoW in 2004 after getting it as a christmas present, I loved it (marines 4tw!)
But, after I beat it (BEFORE the expantion came out) I deleted it completly, along with a few other programs so that I could run another game at full potential. The thing is, we threw the CD case away, which contained the access key/code thingamajiggy and now I cannot play ;-;. I have heard of the Tau coming out in dark crusade. The tau were my first army and when I heard this, I was completly enthralled and HAD to have it... Then I remembered that I had lost the key and uninstalled the game... Please help sombody.

Check the registry to see if you still have the CD key still there.
Start -> run -> regedit
Then look in
HKey_Local_Machine -> Software -> THQ -> dawn of war -> CDKEY
If you do not have the CDKey in there you are out of luck.

Moving to Technical Assistance.
I'm not sure what would possess you to throw away the CD key for a game that requires one to install. You'll probably have to contact THQ to get another one.

How do I go about contacting them? I couldn't find the E-mail on the DoW site. And the CD case could just be lost, we searched everywhere but couldn't find it. >_<

hmm....well you have a couple options you could
A: Buy a new dawn of war(in the pack with wa if you wanted 20-30 bucks)
B: Keep looking for a way to contact thq/relic
*EDIT* look at quote
C: Contact Tranj and see if he could hook you up with a number (he very well might not be able to tho
D: Eat Cheese
This is from THQ:
The number for THQ customer support is 818-880-0456 and can be reached Monday-Friday, 9AM - 5PM PST. In order to receive a new CD-Key we basically need to just exchange your copy of the game for a new one, which means it must be within 90 days of your place of purchase. Otherwise the exchange is an out of warranty exchange as detailed on the last page of the manual for the game (meaning there is a replacement fee of $15 to replace the game) once again moe has saved the day...maybe.....
cheese.... Bring in the cheese! :P

ive got a cd key for this game i could spare if you like :)
there was a problem so i ended up with two copies of dawn of war.
It will work but i have already registered it so you will not be able to use it in online play. it will though let you reinstall the game and play single player
its up to you and i hope this helps :)
let me know if you want it
That key would actually work online as well. I think it would be legal for you to give him the key provided you only give it to one person and then dont use it yourself.

The game is now much much cheaper than when you originally got it. I saw the Gold edition for $20 at Best Buy. Erm, doesn't do you much good if you aren't a yank I suppose.

The key is genuine but it has been used the cd broke so i got another one, and used the new key. the old one has just been sitting there. but if he wants it just to install his game and mabye use it as a base for WA DA(when it comes out) etc i don't see the harm.
ive actually been in the situation before where i lost my cd key it realllly sucks having to rebuy a blooody game youve already got :(
Again hope this helps :)
