Problems changing profile w/ gamespyID

I'm trying to change my DOW/WA proflie from
[TBG] RE-CON to
[TBG]RE-CON

everytime I try to remove the space it says ID nick is already in use, which is strange because I'm using it and want to change it. :banghead: Is there anyway around this problem or am going to have to keep the oringinal ID? Thanks in advance for your help and comments.

I've tried to create it as my profile but as above it won't let me. Is registering it a different process

Well if you tried registering and get a "nickname is already in use" error then you're out of luck, it means somebody else has already regged it.
What you can try though is register it with a made-up email address, sometimes GS can be weird about email addresses.
