I'm having troubles connecting to a game with a certain friend of mine already connected to it. Friend B is hosting and I have no problems with my game interacting with his (If I host, he can join, if he hosts, I can join), however, If I'm connected to Friend B first, Friend A cannot connect afterwards and vice versa.

The funny part is that as soon as either one of us disconnects from Friend B's game, the other can then immediately join, I'm talking within a second access is granted.

It's some sort of incompatability between Friend A and I's connection, but I don't know what to do about it. Any help would be great, and very sorry if I've been so vague.

Do both of them have routers? Is this a direct connect game?

I'm having the same issues with one of my friends. We're both using routers and we're both directly connected to ours. We're also very frustrated with it... lol Any assistance would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks!

In hopes of clarifying the problem more, I will also describe my similar problem. I have a router, but I am in the DMZ. My brother is on the router but is connecting directly to my LAN address. My friend is across the state and is trying to connect to my ip but cant when my brother is in the lobby with me. When my bro leaves he can and visa versa. I work for an IT company and have forwarded ports to my bro's cpu to no avail(I didnt think this would work anyway because I am in the DMZ and this would a)take my ports or b)I would override his). Anyway my friend is open too so there is no issue there. It just doesnt make sense unless there is some built in defense against one person playing two games on one ip. But, that doesnt make sense either because why would you do that on a direct connection. Im not trying to detract from the other poster but I also didnt want to start a new post.
