WA will not even autorun

Hey all, I have been playing DOW and WA on and off since they both were first released. Once again I reinstalled DOW patched and attempted to install WA. I cant even get the disk to autorun!!! Considering I have installed and uninstalled and even reformatted a few times since WA came out I havent a clue! I am still running win XP Pro x64, upgraded my processor from a 3800 AMD to a 4400X2 and upgraded to 7600 SLI video cards. It played fine with the 3800AMD, 5500 Nvidia, and XP Pro 64 less than a year ago!

Since it doesnt do ANYTHING but give me a 1 sec hour glass if I explorer the CD and click the installer I have no logs!

BTW: DOW plays fine and great! LOL The SAD thing is I am probably making some stupid newbie mistake and for the life of me cant figure it out!

The only "stupid newbie mistake" I can think of that would cause these symptoms would be inserting CD2 instead of CD1.

Assuming you are inserting the correct disk, try opening it in windows explorer and copying all the files to your harddrive.

Oh, and shut down any security software you have running - that could be interfering and causing problems.
