1.5 Lags every 2 Seconds?

Hey guys, I updated my WA last week to 1.5, and have been playing single player no problem. Last night i wanted to host a game for my friend to join. We play WA together every week and before 1.5 we only had 'starting' lag, now the game wont settle down. Every 2 seconds it stops and starts.

Anyway to fix this problem? Is anyone else having similiar problems?

(oh and for the record, my pc has a 256 nvidia 6800, and 1 gig of ram)

have you tried running the game on the lowest settings and try this

as well turn shadows off, ive forgotten where i saw that.......i think it was shadows they affect your play alot i believe.
