I need help with patching

I haven't bothered playing on line or anything before and never worried about the patches. But i now have winter assult and can't load it because i don't have the latest patch, but the problem is when i go to run the 1.10 patch, it doesn't matter where i download it from when i run it just says its corrupted! help some one please! i just want to play winter assault!

Winter Assault patches DoW automatically to 1.4 upon installing it. For that matter, if you bought the Gold Edition, both games already come patched to 1.4. You should not require any patching to *run* Winter Assault. I don't see your problem...

Do you have Dawn of War? Winter Assault on its own won't work.

It tells me i am trying to patch the wrong version of DoW and need to make sure all the patches from 1.0 and onwards are loaded? Do i have a really old version or something?
