Are there any MODS out there that have custom backgrounds not availible. Because I have seen a lot of SWEET screenshots with backgrounds that I have not seen anywhere. For instance, on the B5: Great Wars MOD screenshots (on their homepage), I see some beautiful backgrounds that are not in the downloadable MOD. Or am I missing a place (other than the background archive of HW Map Archive's site) on the internet?

i think some of those are renders and not screenshots.

There are a number of custom .btg available on the various map archive sites. Noted artists include Overkill, FoX, /downslope\, Dylov, and even meeeeeee. (and some others pardon me for forgetting)

Some are nebulae backgrounds we have made for rendering purposes, others are indeed new BTG backgrounds that will be made available with future releases of the mods as part of new multiplayer maps... :)

FoX was once king of BGs, I believe, but I have absolutely no idea where they're shuffled away. Map archives would probably have at least a few...

Why not make your own? Here's a tool to do it simply, and relics own tool for the more adventurous...

I do do them myself, but there are some that look like I could never make them, they are so good.
