Ok, most forums cost money to buy...eg UBB and vBulletin.

Yabb is a free and fully featured forum (http://www.yabbforum.com)

You need to have webspace with PHP and CGI enabled. Extract the contents of the downloaded installation program, and follow the instructions. It only takes about half an hour!
