As some of us might've found out, the CoH beta weights about 1.6 gig. Meaning that for those people with slow connection, the game would already be out by the time the download finish. Therefore, in this thread i respectfully request that those out there who can have a taste of the beast, please post some screenies for us (so long as it doesn't violate NDA bla bla bla... so on and stuff)!!

Here's hoping that the Mods would approve this

@Trizzdog: the graphics in your screenshot looks different from Daton's. I'm assuming that the engine is highly scalable right?

The main difference is that my screenshots are on a brighter map - and that I have post processing enabled (bloom).

Not necessarly true, Ive been running the beta since its inception on full high settings and have never had any lag. Then of course i do imagine this game is a challange for a lot of the player base.

The screenshots look great especially tiger's stuff, I love it when people get blown to bits and body parts start flying =)

For those wondering why those screens were in low res, that was the first game i had, and the auto graphics detector puts them on retardedly low settings. I now have wwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy better graphics on. I'll post some more screenies when i get them

I played today a match 2vs2 and I think that it was by far the best one I've had.

I was playing as germans and when Allies started to pull out some Pershing M26 I was screaming mad but suddenly I was able to get some Tigers and Panzershreck and get those yankis fixed forever ;). Here are the screens Enjoy them!

Question: Is there a way to temporarily hide the UI? There is a way to do that in DoW with a simple LUA script but is that possible with CoH?

The beta video footage looked so much better than the screenshots in this topic. What spec was the pc using for the beta video footage? These screenshots don't have the same film gloss as the trailer did.

Had a game awhile ago where I saw an.... interesting bug. Basically, they were weilding a tank, and they kinda morphed into eachother and their weilding tools were floating 20feet away from them, sparks and all. Needless to say, it looked oh so wrong in motion, but the picture will give you the gist of what it looked like they were doing.

i just love the look of the game. Only thing that bothers me is the realism.

It feels very realistic, till the point you order your engineers to build a barracks in 15 seconds or a sandbag barrier with the sand they carry around in their pockets. ^^

Except that, just WoW. The look, the gameplay, and especially the look!

Not just because of the "FPS Screenshots" made, it's just insane how good graphics are atm. This game looks better than Operation Flashpoint in FPS O_o Wow.

Btw, Keep em coming, i enjoyed every screeny by now :)

I can live with that fast building...what relly stuns me is that it really matter how you place your tank in in witch angle. I had a StugIV in a ditch and a pershing pumping on it. Also a 3/4 damaged Tiger in the back. The pershing shoots 3-4 Rounds witch all bounce off the StugIV because it stands good and was only to be seen 1/2 and the upper is abit sloped...the pershing finished the tiger off then and turns his back ( engine damaged) ...then there was the final call...( and at this point i believed in my luck but the the perh destroyed the maingun with the next hit and i couldent finish him up...:rage:

Yeah when you accendently press enter the chat comes but you can't get rid of it but heres more pics without it :D Enoy. Oh and also to get rid of the UI. Press ' then enter the following:

Can I ask though, how do you make them? are you making them from the replays? or doing it live in game?

I take them from replay. Cos then you don't have to worry about anything and you can pause the game aswell to get differen't angles etc.

The screenies from post 105 and 96 are from this replay the one that uber posted the Tiger Fest 06.

Tip: When taking screenies try and make some sorta low to the ground and close to the thing you taking a pic of. Lets say a tank thats just sitting there you could get low down on ground and get the sun in the backround like this

Nice screenies solidus, but doesn't beat my record of post i think it was 58 screen in one post(you have 30 including the one you repeated) :D And also type in message_hide in the command console to get rid of the Playback/pause messages. Then do message_show to get them back again.
