Cant patch

ok yeah sorry... wen im going online with Company of hero... they are asking for a patch.... wen the patch his downloading.. it does nothing.... pls help!!

There are two things you can try here. Go into your \My Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes BETA\Patch\ folder and delete whatever is in there and try it again. You can also download the patch manually from here if that doesn't work.

Alright, then I need you to follow the instructions for posting a dxdiag and warnings.log file in this thread and give us some more information on what is happening. What exactly do you mean by "it does nothing". Be precise with your description.

you know wen you are dowloading the patch there a bar... and afther 20 min or less.. there nothing in it....its not loading...

i cant send you my dxdiag because its in french....

have you tried unblocking CoH from your firewall?

Thats usually the culprit 90% of the times. The patch downloaded fine for me and many others.

yeah i know.. for the others its working... and for my fire wall.. wen i play game.. or patching a game like Company of hero i dont put my fire wall on.. and my ati virus..

you dont keep your firewall on when you play online?!?!?! Do you not even attempt to configure it properly?

Thats how people get hacked my friend, a very foolish choice.

o yeah.... because with alot of games wen i keep my fire wall on my comp freez..

you need to configure it properly then, you should only get problems if it hasn't been setup correctly.

All my games that i own, i play online and I've never run into any problems.

Hello again i am trying to install the patch of COMPANY OF HERO.It still doesn't work.When i click on the patch file to start to install the patch which says PATCHING IN PROGRESS doesn't load at all.I tried this patch loading on another computer and it does the same thing,it doesn't load .I think that there is a bug in this patch.Please anyone who knows how to fix it or has another trick do please advise me or the people who created this beta game should try to fix it fast as possible.Thank You In advance hope you fix it.

had this problem myself. copy the patch from /my documents/my games directory where it has been downloaded and paste it in the game's directory. run it from there.
