Hi!
For me the game has worked pretty much flawlessly, but for my friend it haven't worked at all, untill the discovery with netlimiter.

My friend have had the common connection problem with relic online, and he haven't got to play any matches.

Now he managed to join my game, by watching at desktop netlimiter activity. He sees my ip, and I see his, and we start the game. Once we get in to the game, it lags like hell. Even we ping each other @ ~40ms, and we live pretty close to each other and same ISP, and same level hardware. The game works for me as long as my friend is monitoring netlimiter on desktop, but once he alt+tabs back to the game, the lag starts again.

So the bottomline is that the online activity flows great just as long as he is monitoring netlimiter.

PS. My friend dosen't have SP2 installed, that is pretty much the biggest diffrence on our systems, so now we are trying that. I will notify how that plays out.

Another fellow reported uninstalling net limiter fixed his problem. Could you try and unisntall it?

Hm, I tried uninstalling my Netlimiter 1.3 just now
And now I can actually see the News and the Chat, although I still get those connection flickers, so I can't start a game.

Neither installing sp2 nor uninstalling netlimiter helped.

EDIT: Does the lobby server have any role once the match have started? Atleast Net Limiter only showed my friends ip address under RelicCOH.exe...

EDIT: The Net Limiter is located at C:\Program Files\NetLimiter 2 Pro at least for me that is.

Skyward:

Can you post a log file from http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt please?

Also, I noticed you're from finland. I played with a fellow from Finland last night, and his connection was BRUTALLY slow and choppy. As soon as he left the game it worked quite well.

I'm indeed from finland, and the removal of netlimiter worked after all for my friend. He told me while ago that he had just played and won his first game, and we tried to play on my server, and it worked as well.

Funny how for me the Netlimiter 2 pro haven't caused any problems, but for my friend it obviously did.

There might be a setting inside netlimiter that's causing the problem.

Good to know, thanks for the update.
