"this profile is currently busy, please try again shortly"

Hi, I logged into my "HollowpointAngel" profile about 2-3hrs ago and when trying to log out later i lost connection to the server. So i had the option to "return to main menu" so i did. I then exited the game. About 10 mins later i tried to log in again and i got this message "this profile is currently busy, please try again shortly". So i waited about 30mins and still couldn't get in. So i created another profile got in played a game for maybe 40-50mins, then restarted my computer and tried again. I still couldn't get in. Any help on this would be really good cause i would like to keep that profile. Maybe it will reset when the servers restart if they do?

I had it happen for HOURS to my first macktheknife profile lol.

Heh, I had that problem too, so I created a new profile and got the same thing =P

...not that it matters since I get connection problems soon afterwards anyways

Exactly the same thing happened to me.
I was invited to a friend's game. Just as I wanted to click on "OK" to accept the invite, the "There is a problem with your connection to etc." message and instead of clicking on "OK" I clicked on "Go to main menu" button. The game took me there.

I then tried to reconnect. I then got the "Your profile is currently busy" message. I created a second profile and relogged on. I then talked to the guy who had invited me and my regular profile was still shown as online.

So my guess is: Logout problem. The profile's still online and therefor you can't log in with it.

Just have patience. I had this yesterday after the game crashed. I can now log in again.

Just make a second profile and play with that.

Same here, says my profile is busy then logs out.

It seems that there has been a problem with the Relic Online servers over the last few days that has affected logins for a lot of people. There's not a lot we can do to help, Relic need to find a solution. All we can suggest is to be patient, and keep trying to login.

Please don't bump 2 year old threads, even if your problem appears similar.
