I've got a router, its a Belkin wireless. The sad irony is that I don't need it anymore. However I'm having difficulties trying to disable it so I can just run my internet connection on my modem (two seperate boxes). When I go into network connections the Ip address is for the router, even if I unplugged the thing from my computer and modern, and just have the modem connected.

K, try this.
Hook the Modem up directly to your PC.
Then, go Start>Run... type CMD and hit enter.
At the command prompt, type IPCONFIG /release and hit enter
Then Ipconfig /renew and enter.

Ok. I'm back onto my modem ip address now. I still can't connect to a game. I keep getting disconnected from the server.

Do you have Nod32 installed? Post an updated log from http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt please.

Ok so I got hijack, do you want me to do a scan and then post it? How do I post it, I can't copy and paste it. I tryed following the copy and paste instruction on the website but its not working. Will I need NoD32 for the official released version of CoH to play online? I'm at the point now where I'm ready to give up on playing the beta. :bombface:I'm not very good at software surgery, so it may be better for me to wait for the official release. I really hope that the connection problem is fixed by then, and I don't have to perform major software surgery to pay online.
Edit: Just worked out what NoD32 is, no I don't have it. I've got Mcaffe anti-virus/firewall.

You need to open the Hiijack this log file that you saved and copy and paste it to a post here.
Note that the servers have been performing HORRIBLY this afternoon, I spent an hour trying to get into a game today.
