I noticed, when playing infantry, with 5 howitzers in the 6 players map, that its a little frustrating to select 1 by one, via the squad's tooltips, and give it a fire command.
Suggestion
Since the howitzer is like a "super weapon", when we build one, a new set of icons appear in the game interface, like this:
Name / Status
Howitzer 1 Ready
howitzer 2 Reloading
howitzer 3 Being constructed / deployed
howitzer 4 Crew killed
howitzer 5 Firing
howitzer 6 Captured by <player name>
You could do this in the tactical map, since there is A LOT of unused space there. And make the howitzers turn automatically when the firing target is out of the firing angle, or a message saying "out of range" cause now, it just stand there and do nothing...
Another suggestion, is, when being constructed, the crew is visible, and an animation of "preparations" like, setting up the gun, after being towed would be nice. That poped up gun, and engineers working on it, doesn't convince me lol...
