Invaild CD Key?

I got the beta and key mailed to me VIA fileplanet, and it worked great for a day or two, then i did not play for the day, i went to patch tonight and it says invalid CD key, any idea on how to fix this? i reinstalled the beta client and tried putting in the cd key and did it again. I e-mailed fileplanet and all they did was send me to a link with all my beta keys listed, and the same key is there. Is there a way that I can change a file or something so it knows the key is ok. Or could it possibly be a duplicate? and is there something maybe in the registry that I can fix?

Try copying and pasting it into the window rather than typing it?

Nope just tried. I never thought about that just for the very reason I could have been mistyping, I have tried every combination. But nothing. Still giving me the same error, invaild CD Key.... ugh, i was hoping to play tonight on my night off

bizzare, I don't know what to tell you. If it's not accepting the key... ugh... I'll see if I can find out anything more for you, but probably won't hear anything till tomorrow.

You're not trying to create a new account with your key are you?

no still using the same one i used when i signed up, it worked great the first week. I went away for the weekend and came back and i got a patch or 2 i think and then it would not work, so I deleted everything after trying everything i could think of, and reinstalled the client. and redownloaded ALL the patches over again, getting the same error after all that, i even tried to re sign up thinking that would work. But for obvious reasons that did not

I thank you Uber for looking into it, i spoke with 2 people on anthor board who had the same issue and one said something about the registry the other never spoke to me

The same thing happened to me. Lowercase "L" and "1" look almost the same in the font they use. If you copy/paste the key into word etc and change the font, youll be able to see. But your problem is fixed, so you should be good.

Once you have used your CD Key to create a Relic Online account, you never need to enter the key again. If you tried to create a second account, it probably said that the key is invalid because it was used already.
