Lost connection to relic online

Hi all, just got the beta from a preorder, everything went fine, patches installed correctly, tutorial ran great, however when i log on to relic online i was able to get a player name and everything and i even joined the main lobby. After about 10 seconds or so though I lose connection to relic online. my firewall is set to allow the game and when i go to the games list i can see all the games so i do connect, just not for very long. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can I get a warnings.log, dxdiag.txt, and hijack this file?

Also, what router model do you have (if you have one) and does it have the ports open. Do you have an anti virus sweet in as well? Have you tried running the game with both (or at least the firewall) off?

how would i get you a dxdiag file? i have a linksys router but my computer is the one that recieves the internet and then sends it out so would that matter if i had ports closed? if so what ones should i open for this game? i do have an anti-virus program and i haven't tried turning both off so ill give that a shot. i have the version that came through the preorder and i dled all patches that automatically updated when i attempted to connect, is there anything im missing?

i just tried turning off my virus and firewall, that didn't work either. Something I left out originally, when I lose my connection and opt to return to the main menu the game freezes and I have to close it through my task manager which says "not responding," im not sure if this has significance. Thanks for your help by the way, its greatly appreciated
