Lag since 1.17

So since the 1.17 patch i've been lagging..not absolutely horribly..but everyone will havta wait for me once every minute or so. The problem being i didnt lag at all pre 1.17. Was the network code changed again? anyone else getting this?

Lots of graphics options were changed, especially shadows.

Try with Shadows off, AA off, and make sure your textures aren't on ultra high.

Yeah, The lower my settings go, the lower my FPS goes.. odd, but the lower my settings, the less i drop.. its very odd.

I had to put everything on medium or high , and I have lag now, darn....

according to fraps my fps never drop below below 55 (although i do have all the settings maxxed) =( i guess i'll try lowering them anyway and see if it helps the lag
