Connecting problems

Get the error 'cannot connect to all players in game' when trying to connect to my friend m2grand. We have opened all ports and have even bypassed our routers completely but still no luck.
For some reason it wont let me upload as i have already put the files into the old thred earlier.

K, first off, is your Internet Security program properly configured to allow connections?

It looks to me like m2garand is the one having the problems though, I'd suggest he disable his antivirus software and see if he can connect.

Both of you should make sure your routers are configured properly.

Also, try this if you can't connect after sorting out your router and firewall software.

Start>Run... type MSCONFIG, click ok.

click the services tab, click "Hide All Microsoft Services", Click Disable All.

Click the Startup Tab, click Disable All.

Click OK, reboot, and attempt to play on rebooting (Do not allow MSCONFIG to get you to reset everything and reboot again, just cancel out of the MSCONFIG window).

Already tried it I'm afraid, we've opened up ports, dmz'd and turned all anti-virus/firewalls off but it still can't connect. We've also tried the Msconfig but that also didn't work. Strange becuase I can connect to another friend with an un-configured router perfectly.
