hello,i'm just getting in to this, and i like it so far.
i'm still learning the combos that i like to use in the right occasions.
do any of you here play battle realms or any other rts games?
what are the pros and cons that you have between this and the other game you play?
i have been playing battle realms since it has been out and i feel it is the best rts i have played so far.

Welcome to the forums, i never played battle realms... as for other rts games that i play: age of mythology, warcraft 3, and ic (none of them online mind you). As for the time being though i am keeping busy with Freelancer, Homeworld, and just started another sp go around of Myth 2.

that was my first choice but my daughter picked out IC instead.
and it was a good choice.

Good choice about ic, definately up there with 'family entertainment' even though i dont have kids.

AoM has a good storyline, decent sound effects, and strong graphics. Even the cg intro vid is good. However the ending cutscene is probably the worst i have ever seen so you have to take the good with the bad, in other words 'i played through 35 missions for this?!' might be on your mind when you are all done, but its not a big deal since the rest of the sp is entertaining and held me for 35 missions.

Hey man.

I don't know exactly what you are into but i can sugest a few good ones. Some are better than others of online paly. You could try the game Dark Reign or Dark Reign 2. Both are quick when it comes to online matches, but it is very quick pace and a lot of fun! Almost all of the Command & Conquer series are good in my book. Though it must be said that it is getting harder and harder to find people to play online with some of the older titles. Also if you like playimg Homeworld at all. DO NOT play Imperium Galactica 2 : Alliences, it is a masive waste of time and energy. The single player missions are fun, if you like not having a clue on what to do half the time. The multi-player is just a waste of time. I say this because i know people who made the mistake of getting the game thinking it would be better than HW. They were wrong. The coppy i have was given to me from a freind, mind you he bought it about two days prior. Of course this is only my opinion.

i also just got "Freedom Force" for a present the other day.
it's cool, but i can't find anybody online playing it, i guess it's just old now...
