i'm still not sure how i survived the first one, second time my panther arrived on the scene in the nick of time (thank god i decided tobuild him instead of a couple more flaks)

obviously i backed him up against the lake :)

50 minute game...it was midnight and i wanted to join under a dif profile and fuck around...unforunately i forgot to so i was kinda annoyed at the start that i had to try since im ranked high 30's now and would like to move up....luckily i squeeked this one out

I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that IN REAL LIFE:

TIGER <<< PANTHER

The Panther's gun has more penetration, better rate of fire and greater accuracy than the 88mm on the Tiger.
Panther frontal armor is thinner, but it's SLOPED so it can effectively take more damage.

It is actually IMPOSSIBLE for the Sherman M4 with the standard 75mm gun to kill a Panther, at ANY RANGE.
But from what I hear the Panther can get killed by 2 Shermans and a Tiger can clean out 3 Shermans no problem.

Well, if the panther is flanked, anything can kill it.....40mm unsloped armor isn't much

as for frontally, its probably possible to penetrate front turret with HVAP and didn't it have a shot trap?

On the other hand, Tiger is nearly 75mm immue on all aspects when using normal ammo, at even very short range. In any case, the Tiger is a far more expensive tank and it should somehow translate to a more powerful tank.

Actually, considering the squad of stormtroopers that come with it, the tiger really isn't that expensive -especially- considering how lethal it is if supported.
