my account keeps logging off

Apparently randomly my account logs off even after a lot of activity. It gets really anoying when you go to post and then you cant because you arent logged in, and then youre entire time spent writting the thing was wasted. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it???????

Yes, sounds as if your security settings for cookies are set too high... in other words, your browser automatically expires the cookies the Forums set in (for example) 5 minutes, as opposed to 1 month.

In IE, check Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy -> Advanced. NS, I dunno.

Coulda been caused by third-party products (like pop-up killers). Glad you got it fixed, tho.

IE Turned them off. IT was so full after eating all of those cookies, that it couldn't eat a single more.
