Here's the thread for 1_Alpha, our self-designated gopher ;) .
Here are 3 questions:
1) (beast) when you turn on EPA to defense with the beast CS, the guns drop to half damage according to both the stats displayed when I hit tab, as well as a test I did timing how long it took to destroy a full-health IAF ~ the guns actually do become about half as effective. This sure seems like a bug - is it?
2) (beast or taaw) if you issue a guard command to any ships you have anywhere in a map to guard your CS or carrier, they will fly towards your CS or carrier but still turn and fire an nearby enemies. This can be used to pulse attacks (issue an attack order on some fighters, then issue this "retreat" order, then an attack order again). This works with any tactics settings. Is it a bug?
3) (beast) Sometimes when you retire an ACV, you can build it right away without having to do linking research. This happens whether you have corv drive or not. Other times, you can research linking tech, but the ACV won't show up in your build list until you build 2 acos, link them, and retire them. Similar things have happened where I'd retire a ramming frigate, and be able to build it without afterburner tech, and conversely not be able to build it even after researching afterburner other times. This seems buggy, but sometimes also it doesn't... Is it a bug?
