Hot keys

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I've searched this forum to no avail.

I don't appear to be able to asssign number keys to my buildings, something I've seen reference to in passsing in other threads. I press "Ctrl" and "number" but nothing happens. I can assign squads to numbers, but not buildings. "Home" works, bringing me back to my HQ. Which is nice.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Hmm, I can't think of any reason why that shouldn't work... I do this regularly, starting with 0 for barracks(or equivalent), 9 for armoury, and so on... There is a difference between units and structures being assigned hotkeys though - the buildings don't display the number assigned to them, unlike vehicles and squads.

By the way, is your tag Irish Gaelic? What does it mean?
