problem not describable in topic

ok heres the deal.

i went and got object desktop, including windowblinds and icon packager.

when i went to instal an icon package, i noticed that my drives did not get their icons changed. so i was fooling about in tools>folder options:file types and opened up advanced properties on the drives.

there is an option to change the icon there, so i changed it to the desired icon.

well, apparently i didn't notice that the program to run that object was changed or something when i set the new icon and clicked ok.

when i went to open a drive, it just spit open a command prompt. sighz. so i went back and changed the command to explorer again.

so now when i open a drive yea, it works and opens up the drive, but, in another window. i cannot get explorer to open up the drive in the same window anymore through my computer.

I have already tried to go through folder options, reset to default, then apply changes to open up windows in the same window, but still when i open up drives through my computer it creates a new window.

this is not a huge problem or anything, i would simply just like to open up drives in the same window.

did i explain everything ok?

I forgot to state that I am running on Win XP prof.

Check Tools -> Folder options... and look at the little check boxes... I think there's an option called "Open folders in same window" or "Open folders in same process", that should fix it.
