Making A New Mod - How?

Hey All, Is there a wiki or tutorials on how to mod for this game? I have the tools but can't figure it out?

Umm, I did read that, it doesnt help me on how to make an infantry only mod or anythging

1) Well you said nothing about a infantry only mod.
2) Then you have to read again. It's listed there...

It really isnt a comprehensive wiki.... I understand how to edit files and that but it doesnt tell you what the things you can edit to and what things do and stuff.... And nothing on infantry mods..

Lol Sorry, What I meant was that it doesn't tell you how to edit the files to actually do anything, where can I see what each value and line does?

Well that's why not all people are modding. You have to test all the stuff.

Remember, this is not an official tool. Maybe the Modding Tools will have such informations.

I remember I saw informations about some values at the right corner but only with a few.

Well, Beacon, let's put it this way...

We, modders, find the way to do things by testing what we've changed. 90% of my experience comes from "trial and error." I know it gets frustrating at times, but seriously, I feel wonderful when I finally get that unit to work correctly.

It's what I (or maybe we) do.

There's a sticky about lua functions. Incomplete but useful for a newbie.

Ok thanks, but the thing is I have absolutely NO idea how to do anything expect look at the files at the moment... Is anyone available on MSN/xfire for help please?

Thats why you have to try everything out, so you see what does what, like camo said :)
