I´ve been trying to add the flakvierling as a buildable object for my infantry tactics mod, but i have some problems.
I have got it ingame: http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/9412/vierlingcl9.jpg
and i get the weapon crew for it, but the crew doesnt use the flak.
And i tried to put pioneers in it, but i couldnt garrison any troops in it :/
Could someone help me?
EDIT: Nevermind, i got it working now.

You can check the files in my mod (infantry tactics) if you wanna know, dont have the time to explain.
Oh, and it wasnt really a problem, just forgot to change the entity to the right one.

Yes I would also like to know how you managed to get the Flakvierling buildable, while your mod does sound nice, I've already heavily modded the game to my liking. I've been trying to figure out how to get it to work, but so far I can't find out how to get anything in the build menus as all the files in type_construct don't seem to be editable. If you could tell us how you managed to make them buildable, that'd be real awesome!

Tiger you actually have to create the construction_ext for the unit and set it so it is in the build menus. Not set the build menus so it is in the menu. Right now I am trying to figure out why there is no crew for it when I build it.

Um... Not to sound much like a newb, but how would I do that exactly? I mean, I can't seem to find much of a copy function within the RGD editor, does this mean I'll just have to keep adding children and naming the same, hoping I don't mess up? Thanks for any help!

TigerVX you can always go to lua editing.
You can check the files in my mod (infantry tactics) if you wanna know, dont have the time to explain.
Oh, and it wasnt really a problem, just forgot to change the entity to the right one.
Would someone happen to beable to tell me what entity you had to change it to.
Edit: Oh nvm I had to set the squad loadout to to the ebps new one I created.

ok this might not be the easiest way but since the mod tools doesnt have copy function for RGD I usually do it like this instead of having double up files with the lua.
make a secondary mod with all the original stuff. Then convert everything to lua. Then copy through lua (this way you can copy all the info in children list) convert to RGD in the new mod setup. Extract that modified RGD, copy paste the RGD into your Primeary mod.)
prolly sounds like lot of work but its alot faster than having to add children (at least if its a long list)

Well, i made a new entity, and as a ground i used the flak 88, since its already a buildable support weapon.
I opened the lua of the flakvierling prop (the neutral one) and copied stuff from there into the flak 88.
Sure, it took some time but it worked in the end :)

So you replaced the 88 Flak with the Flakvierling?

No, it comes with the flak 88 upgrade and is a separate unit, it's all in his Infantry Tactics mod.
If only I could have a flakvierling AND tanks! Hopefully a mod like that will come along soon. I am so desperate for the infantry slaughter. And the 88 is really bad at shooting planes

Yeah I want to have both too. Thats why in my mod the Flakvierling is buildable at the bunkers but its a bit stucked in the bunker..
I cant even get your mod to start!
I would hope to one day be able to make it so that the flakveirling is buidlable like an 88.

Why? Oh, and I hope you know that there is a fixed version, had some problems... :D
The problem is that I don't know what to do with the module file or like I said, hwo do I get it to start? I put everything in the patch and betas in the directory but it wont give me all the stuff in game.

Put the module and folder 'Infantry_Tactics' into your main company of heroes directory, then make a shortcut of company of heroes, right click the shortcut, go to properties, find Target, and add this to the end of "C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" (Or whatever yours is) "-modname (name of mod here) -dev" (Without the quotes). Then double click it to run it. If that doesn't work, somethings wrong with your game.

Ooooh nice pic! I think once you capture a point a basic defense like similar to what you made is auto generated , so that it makes it more of a challange to capture a point! ;)
