Might be answered in the "Wild Speculation about Release Date" thread at the top of the forums.
I think the Release may be staggered... it looks like Europe may be getting it in September while the US gets it in July. Then again, those dates aren't final final yet.

2 months? !!!!
Sierra sure know how to annoy people, don't they. Ah well, if they do that that's what the grey import market is for.

Get ready to be a bit more annoyed Falcon. I bet it will be a lot more then 2 months.

<Sierra-GenevieveOstergard> HOMEWORLD2 will be a worldwide simultaneous ship and will be available at your local software retailer.
Just thought you might want to know!

lol and you believe that?
In australia World Wide release often means a distributer won't have the game on the shelves here months after release in the US. Same thing happens al the time in europe.
Never believe marketing. For instance iC took months to hit Oz stores after the release in US, and Diablo2 from Blizzards took 6 weeks to hit store shelves.

the internet is wonderous.
i think all the possible ways round this particular potential problem have been explored here. Bottom line. If you live in Australia, have no access to the internet and haven't got access to a banking card of some description your pretty screwed.
