View Full Version : 88mm Flak Problem

Can someone point me in the right direction on what properties to check my 88 mm Flak AA gun won't rotate to engage enemies nor will it fire at anyone even at close blank range. The crew just sits there not doing anything thx for your help. :)
And by the way I'm using Communist_Bob's flakvierling omg mod module.
Also I just redownloaded the module again and played it from scratch without messing with anything to see if the 88 mm flak aa gun would fire this time. And it still doesn't fire nor move. Anyone who has this mod could u look into what could be causing this problem?

Well, my flak 88 works fine for me in that mod, but the mod was mainly for people who wanted to rip the flakvierling out and stick it in their mods.

Hmm weird cuz the only thing i messed with on the 88 flak files was its damage and range numbers. Can you tell me what file structure tells you whether the 88 flak will shoot or not? Cuz the flakvierling works but the 88 won't engage any enemies even when their right in front of the 88. What should the files say?

If you tell it to explicitly shoot at something does it shoot?
Also, if you could attach the rgd or lua of the files you modifed that would be helpful.

the 88_flak_squad.rgd file? weapon_88_crew.rgd? etc..? And Do I extract them and then attach them so you can see them?
And to give you a reply Mr. Bildo on whether it shoots at something if I point at an enemy and tell it to shoot it does nothing it just stays still.

Just zip up those .rgd's, no need to extract them.

Nevermind I got it to work!!!! Only thing I wanna know now is what controls whether a unit can hold a certain weapon.
I'm currently using Soldier's Enhanced Combat module. Where he has like 10 soldiers in one squad. Where would I go to change whether they can hold a bazooka. Because I gave them the anti_tank_package.lua upgrade on certain units and when i hit the upgrade button in game, none of them get a bazooka but all other weapons like the thompson and bar rifles they can get. Thx. :)
