AT gun auto fire?

Unlike the 88 my AT Guns don't auto target enemy units, I always have to go and tell them to shoot at the flamethrower team that's burning them to death, or the infantry shooting at them.

It seems they only auto fire if the enemy is in the direct line of fire they are currently pointing at. I don't have 'hold fire' on,
but this can't be right can it? In an intense battle I don't always have time to micro all AT guns.

Working as intended. Its the same with all firing arc units which are AT guns, MGs, and StuGs although they do turn by themselves. Its because Relic wanted people to place there AT guns in good positions, and because of the set up time.

Without it someone could wiz a Jeep behind your AT guns, and as they all turn around to auto attack it, they send in an army of tanks.
