Anyone got a clue what a negative acceleration might imply? Here is an example from the Allied Engineer:
GameData["moving_ext"]["acceleration"] = -1

Either deccelartion or moving backwards.

Decceleration implies slowing down. He'd be moving backwards if decellerating past 0 units of velocity(I'm not sure what its measured in. Really wish this game had better commentary in the RGDs)

All infantry have -1 acceleration, cause they dont really accelerate like vehicles.
Infantry start moving right away, and vehicles need time to reach their top speed.

In this case I think -1 accel = no accel (it's a programmer thing).

Would this mean it would be possible to have soldiers work up to their maximum speed? For a sprint, someone putting their entire weight behind their body would have an acceleration of 10(if metric, or rather 9.81) or 32(if imperial). For a jog it'd be maybe half of that.

I'm not sure how this might work, but I'm going to give it a try...
But I think the acceleration can be applied to infantries.

I can't see any difference with any of the speed values (except rotation) for infantry if I change them, don't think it's used.
