Hi, I bought CoH recently, and unfortunately it will not start on my machine. It's a bit below minimum specs, so I'm assuming hardware is the problem, but if at all possible I would like to get it working. I have installed it 3 different times on 3 different installs of windows, and have tried different video drivers, and using -nosound. I just reinstalled windows and updated it completely, and updated all my hardware drivers to the latest. I get the exact same error upon trying to start CoH. This is with or without the 1.2 patch. It does not even play the intro movies or get to the menu, it just brings up the error report dialog.
Any help would be appreciated.

BAD NEWS :-(
Your system does not support SSE instructions. Specifically your motherboard.
(That's this line... RelicCOH.exe caused an Illegal Instruction in module RelicCOH.exe at 001b:0088aac9. )
GOOD NEWS!
Relic's identified that a Bios Update will fix it.

My computer has the most recent BIOS already, so it would appear I need to upgrade. My computer has an Athlon Thunderbird, which apparently does not fully support SSE instructions.
Thanks for helping me pinpoint the issue.

Don't be sad, Uber, I have solved the problem. I spent $18 on a duron at newegg, and now the game runs fine. It's even playable!
Now I can resist dropping a buttload of money on a new computer for a few months longer.
