Experience needed to tech up..

Is there a chart available showing how much experience is needed to tech up to each branch of a selected tree?

Also, is there anything out there that shows what sort of experience one gains for killing the various unit types? Is killing units the only way to gain experience?

There are many ways of earning experience... building stuff, for example.

There's no chart to my knowledge, but it wouldn't do you much good anyways in-game. If you're desperate you could probably get the numbers using the modding tools.

I believe its 60xp per command point. You should be able to see in-game the xp you get for killing each unit, eg. 2 for infantry, 19 for a sniper, 28 for armor or similar.

You get xp for building structures too, they give various amounts between 10-20 including the observation posts.

I believe you also get 1xp for each soldier you lose.
