I almost didn't want to post this after seeing Morning Glory, my god that map is pro. Anyways I thought I would go a head and post it now to get some feedback.
I have only roughly placed objects and some textures. I won't spend the time decorating it to make it pretty until I know it is a balanced map for 1v1. The only way to know that is other people playing it.
Known problems:
Fixed: the foot bridge on the right side of the map can be crossed by vehicles and that was not intended.
The fenced in area on the axis side provides awsome protection for snipers covering the bridge because the infantry have to run all the way to the gate to flank them. Don't really know if this should be fixed or not.
I don't know if the bunkers/HMG emplacements are in the best positions either. They both can reach the strategic points directly in front of their bases. Don't know the etiquette on that. I tried to make those points major cut off points.
Any feedback would be appreciated. This is my first map and I am still learning but whats the point of spending forever on making a map look cool if its unbalanced?
Edit: I think the map is pretty balanced now but if you look at this map you will see that I am not very good using splats yet to blend things. I also don't know what the waypoints do? Do you start them in the HQ and run paths to all the points? How do you assign priority to what points the computer takes?
